
Dennis S. Neier is the managing director of DSN Forensic Accounting Services. Up until recently, he served as the senior advisor to the litigation consulting, forensic accounting, and arbitration practice of national CPA firm PKF O'Connor Davies.
Dennis was instrumental in establishing the practice areas of forensic accounting and litigation consulting within the accounting profession. He has decades of experience working for top accounting and consulting firms: Spicer & Oppenheim, partner; Deloitte & Touche, partner; American Express Tax and Business Services Inc., managing director; Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP, partner; RSM McGladrey Inc., managing director; EisnerAmper, partner; Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, director.
Dennis is also experienced in teaching auditing, basic accounting, forensic accounting, and litigation consulting. He currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at Northeastern University. Dennis has also taught accounting courses at City University of New York and New York University Stern School of Business. He frequently lectures for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York and Massachusetts State Societies of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Bar Association. He has coauthored the chapters on Personal Financial Statements and Forensic Accounting and Litigation Consulting Services for the Accountant’s Handbook. For the Elgar Encyclopedia of Nonprofit Management, Leadership, and Governance, Dennis coauthored the chapter on Fraud Detection and Investigation.
